Hi, I’m Kathi! I’m glad you found your way to my website. With BODIES.TALK I want to support you in getting back into your body and exploring your inner world by virtue of the explicit. For me, yoga is not only a passion, but an anchor and a precious tool for the body, mind and psyche.

Katharina is a dedicated yoga and breathwork practicioner and teacher as well as a life long student from Graz, Austria. She has been practicing Yoga for 7 years and recently started her journey as a teacher. Katharina’s practice and teachings are very much inspired by the Katonah Yoga® theory, a syncretic hatha practice founded by Nevine Michaan in the 1980s.

Katharina’s teachings are a blend of Hatha and Vinyasa, inspired by the Katonah Yoga® theory. Her practice is functional, pragmatic and undogmatic, guided through by a universal metaphoric dialogue. She attaches great importance to precision and teaches techniques that strengthen the organs and their functionality. She believes that in Yoga nothing is static and measuring the body to archetypal forms helps to dissolve pattering, habits and poor technique.

In 2024 she launched her own Yoga project BODIES.TALK. Its purpose is to support students in recognizing patterns of movement and creating an awareness of how one’s own yoga practice can be used efficiently and to the body’s advantage – so that the soul feels like living in it, because eventually, a house, the body, only becomes a home when lived in.

The Yoga Private

The yoga private includes Body Reading through the lens of Katonah Yoga diagnostics as well as therapeutic adjustments.

From body reading, to therapeutic adjustments private sessions offer the opportunity to recognize your embodied personal patterns and suggest modifications of your yoga poses.

A private lesson offers the opportunity to understand personal movement patterns and suggests modifications for the student’s yoga poses.
